I spent the Christmas weekend, at holiday resort with my family.
The Christmas eve buffet was fabulous. What took the cake was the dessert buffet provided by the hotel.
Forget diet.
I picked the truffle ball on the skewer and a few other scrumptious chocolate desserts for a memorable feast.

Wow. It's going to be amazing. I just knew it.
Cut it open and the molten chocolate flowed out. Like lava from a volcano.. hence it's name. chocolate lava cake.
The hot liquid chocolate, with the soft chocolate cake contrasted beautifully with the cold vanilla ice cream.

I found the recipe for this delightful cake in case you can't find a cafe that serves it.

Chocolate truffles are so fun and easy to make. I didn't measure out the ingredients for this. Just poured it all in and mixed them up.
The end result is liquid even after refrigerated, but perfect when frozen -- a soft solid chocolate that just melts in your mouth. Aaahh... chocolate
Ingredients:
Melt, mix and freeze.
Delicious!
